Creation and Entities
The Qur'an does not only deal with the material aspect of the beings. On the contrary, it brings a comprehensive idea of existence that includes the material and spiritual realms. As a matter of fact, one of the most important characteristics of believers is that they believe in an imperceptible realm (ghaib). (Baqarah, 2/3)
The most honorable being among the creatures is human. Therefore, Qur’an dwell on subjects such as the creation of the man, his abilities, weaknesses, fate and death.
In the Qur'an's worldview, the earth, the heavens and everything in between is put into the service of man. Again, all beings in nature are full of verses that lead people to Allah (swt). Therefore, people need to think about the perfect creation, functioning, order and management of living things and nature. The following verse invites people to think in an impressive way:
“[And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks? Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.” (Mulk, 67/3-4)
As we have stated, the Qur'an mentions beings that cannot be perceived by the senses. In this context, Qur'an talks about angels, jinns, devil and focuses on their characteristics and their relation with humans.
