The Qur'an focuses on the principles of consultation, justice, assigning duty to those who deserve it, spreading goodness and preventing evil. The verses deal with fundamental rights and freedoms, such as freedom of belief and thought, the right to life, the protection of reason and human dignity, the protection of generation and chastity, and the right to own property.
The Qur’an aims to raise a society that is concerned with the problems of humanity. The call of the Messenger of Allah (saw) is for all people, and it is a mercy for all servants of Allah, regardless of their nationality. The following verse reveals this truth:"And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” (Anbya 21/107)
With this aforementioned feature, the call of Islam aims at a humanity in solidarity and cooperation with each other. For this, it adopted the principles of brotherhood, ensuring peace in the world, realizing justice, saving people from servitude to people and tolerance towards non-Muslims.
The Qur'an states the following about justice, which is one of the most basic principles: “O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. Fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.” (Ma'idah, 5/8)
