Proof of Creation

When a person looks around, he will notice something: Nature is continuously changing. It’s the same for all creatures, living and non-living alike. The ones that die leave and are replaced by new ones. From the beings in the sea to the flying birds in the sky, from the crawling insects in the ground to the people on the earth; a cycle of life and death continues.
Countless beings die and are created every minute in the world. Countless trees die and countless trees flourish.  Fields and valleys are coated green during spring, and mixed with the soil in fall. Sleeping soil in the winter comes to life in spring. It’s like life is born all over the world.
Everything has a cause. Nature is in constant creation, so this creation has a cause, a creator. If one denies this reality, the following questions pose a problem:
Who created the earth and the sky, who governs the universe, who makes it rain and creates with it fruit-bearing gardens? Who spreads out the world as a place of rest for mankind, making seas and rivers flow therein, creating life and elevating chains of mountains? Who makes the seeds blossom and who creates the ears, eyes and souls?
The Power of the Creator can be seen in the following verses of surah al-Waqi’ah:
“We have created you, so why do you not believe? Have you seen the seed which you emit? Is it you who creates it and makes it into a human, or are We the Creator?
… We have decreed death among you, and We are not to be outdone…
And have you seen that seed which you sow?  Is it you who makes it grow, or are We the grower? … If We willed, We could make it dry debris, and you would remain in wonder,…
… And have you seen the water that you drink?  Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down? If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful?
… And have you seen the fire that you ignite? Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer?” (Waqi’ah, 56/57-72)
