Taking Refuge in Allah from Satan

When we begin to recite the Qur'an, Allah (swt) commands us to take refuge in Him from the evil of Satan. (Nahl, 16/98) What can be the wisdom behind this command? We can explain the answer to this question as follows:
Reading the Qur'an means seeking the consent of Allah (swt) and preparing to walk on the path determined by Him. This is a direction that the Satan will never accept. Because he initially determined his reason for existence as to prevent people from the path to Allah (swt)."[Satan] said, "...I will surely sit in wait for them on Your straight path." (A'raf, 7/16) For example, the Satan leads people to laziness with his delusions. He prevents a person from benefiting from the advice of the Qur'an with various misconceptions that he puts in his heart.
One of the reasons that prevents benefiting from the guidance of the Qur'an is to approach it with prejudices. In this case, the reader cannot focus on what the Qur'an says and what it wants from him. On the contrary, he takes the prejudices in his mind as a basis and tries to make judgments from the verses that will confirm the prejudices in his mind or to have them confirmed by the verses.
So, taking refuge in Allah (swt) from the Satan while reading the Qur'an means avoiding reading it with prejudice or for different purposes such as deriving personal benefits, and praying to Almighty Allah (swt) to open the doors of guidance, enlightenment and abundance to us.
