QUR'AN

The Qur'an is the Last Divine Book

The Qur'an is the last book sent by Allah (swt) to humanity. There is no doubt that it is the word of Allah (swt).(Baqarah, 2/2) It belongs entirely to Allah (swt), both in words and meaning. Jibril (Gabriel) and the Prophet Muhammad (saw) are only means to convey the revelation to us. The Qur'an has challenged those who claim that the Prophet Muhammad (saw) fabricated it by asking them to make and bring a similar one. (Qasas, 28/49; Hud, 11/13; Yunus, 10/38; Tur, 52/34) There was a great literary competition among the Arabs at the time when the Qur'an was revealed. Poets and orators were competing with each other with the poems and speeches they prepared. In such an environment, the Qur'an challenged them in three stages. First, they were asked to write and bring a copy of the part that was revealed up to that time. (Tur, 52/32-34)When they could not do this, they were asked to bring ten surahs similar to the Qur'an if they were sincere in their claims.(Hud, 11/13-14)In the third stage, the deniers were asked to produce only one similar surah of the Qur'an. (Yunus, 10/37-38; Baqarah, 2/23-24)In the face of such a challenge, the deniers could not even produce a verse like it, despite their great desire and numerous attempts. Because the Qur'an is a book that humans and jinn will never be able to produce the like even if they come together. (Isra, 17/88) This miraculous feature of the Qur'an is valid until the Day of Judgment. Because there is no time limit in the verses that challenge the deniers. The Qur'an is the greatest miracle of Prophet Muhammad (saw). (Ankabut, 29/51)Since His prophethood will continue until the end of the world, His miracle, the Qur'an, will remain as the haqq book until the end of the world.
