Taharah al-Hadath (Ritual Purification)

Hadath means a state of ritual impurity such as not having minor ablution (wudu) for salah or being junub. Taharah al-hadath refers to a person who does not have wudu to make wudu, and to the cleansing of a person who is junub, haydh or whose puerperality is over, by performing ghusl. Wudu and ghusl performed for the purpose of turning to Allah (swt) have many benefits such as refreshing and renewing the human body, providing protection from diseases by providing physical cleanliness.
