Why We Have to Have Faith in Divine Books?

Having faith in divine books has an important place in human life. Because the potentiality and capacities of human beings are limited. In addition to this, there are some issues that people cannot remain indifferent even though they are beyond their limits as human beings. For example, one wonders the beginning and the end of life, who created this world we live in, and what the creator wants from us. The sources that one can satisfy a need for such information fully and accurately are heavenly/divine books. Let us consider how easy a navigation device that gives directions makes the job of a person who sets out to go to a city he/she does not know. Divine books guide people just like that in their journey towards the realm beyond their sensory organs.
Human beings make inventions and discoveries with their wisdom and knowledge, and try to control nature and the vast universe with the technology they produce. However, one faces a greater challenge: Will he be able to control the bad emotions in his inner world? As a being that can do both good and evil, people must develop their ability to do good. For this, one must struggle with the side that is prone to evil (nafs) in their inner world. Divine books not only provide information, but also provide morale and motivation in this struggle.
The guidance of the divine books is not limited to individual life. People face various problems in their social lives. Even though they are intelligent beings, they may have conflicting views on the same subject. There may be conflicts of interest between them for various reasons. However, there is consensus among those who sincerely believe in the Books on fundamental issues of existence. This sincere faith ensures a perspective that can go beyond personal frailty and interests. Thus, it may be easier to overcome various problems encountered in social life.
Allah (swt) revealed various books to people throughout history. This has a certain number of reasons like neglecting or forgetting the knowledge of existing books, having a difference of opinion on the books in question, starting to infer very different meanings from them, falsifying books/corrupting their origins. Divine books are the Torah, Psalms, Gospel, and the Qur'an. Besides those, there are some pages (scriptures) have given to some Prophets.  The Qur'an is the last book revealed with its feature to address all mankind. Unlike other books, the Qur'an has preserved its original state from the day it was revealed and will preserve it until the Day of Judgment. (Hijr, 15/9)
