Ramadan the Month of Worship

Ramadan is a month in which our worship intensifies compared to other times. Because this month has several special acts of worship during the day and night. Our beloved Prophet, with his way of worship, is an example for us. He qualified Ramadan as a month of worship and servitude.
In the month of Ramadan, our beloved Prophet did everything in the best way to be a worthy servant to his Lord, he recited the Qur'an with Jibril, and he prayed at length during the night. During the last ten days in particular, he would go into i'tikaf (living a live of seclusion with the purpose of worship and in accordance with certain rules) and devote himself to worship. He was more generous in this month compared to the other months. (Bukhari, Sawm, 7) Moreover, the Prophet remarked the value of 'umrah in Ramadan by  asserting that an 'umrah during Ramadan has the same reward as Hajj. (Bukhari, 'Umrah, 4) Because of this month's importance, both the Sadaqa al-Fitr and Zakah is given during this time.
