Fatanah (Being Intelligent and Smart)
Fatanah means that the prophets are smart, intelligent, and vigilant. Prophethood is a duty that brings great responsibilities. This truth is pointed out in a verse as follows: "Indeed, We will cast upon you a heavy word." (Muzzammil, 73/5) One needs to be smart and clever to fulfill this responsibility. All of the prophets are the people with a great understanding, complete wisdom, strong vision, and superior intelligence. Thanks to these abilities, the prophets have comprehended the messages of Allah very well and resolved the problems of people.
If the prophets were not clever and intelligent, they would not be able to persuade the people they addressed and achieve social transformation. Therefore, every prophet answered to the questions of believers and the objections of the deniers with their superior intelligence.
