Angels of Heaven

Heaven (Jannah) is the name of the eternal home that Almighty Allah (swt) has prepared for His believing servants. Those who believe in Allah (swt) and fulfill the requirements of their faith while living will encounter various blessings there. One of these is that angels prepare for those who will enter heaven, show them respect and welcome them in a nice way. As a matter of fact, in one of the verses in the Qur'an that mentions heaven, it is said: “But those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened and its keepers say, "Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally therein," [they will enter].” (Zumar, 39/73) It is seen in the verse that Almighty Allah (swt) has appointed some angels to guard the Paradise. In another verse, the following is said about the reverence of the angels at the gates of heaven to the people of heaven: “…They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised"” (Anbiya, 21/103)  The angels of heaven not only greet the people of heaven at the door, they also come to their places in heaven and convey their good wishes to them:  “Gardens of perpetual residence; they will enter them with whoever were righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their descendants. And the angels will enter upon them from every gate, [saying], "Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home.” (Ra'd, 13/23-24)
It is known that the name of the guardian of heaven or the greatest of the angels who are guard the heaven is an angel named "Ridwan". It is stated that this name was given to him as a sign that Allah (swt) is pleased with the people of heaven and as good tidings for them. (Cebeci, Kur’an’a Göre Melek, Cin, Şeytan) On the other hand, there is no information about the number of angels in charge of heaven.
