When were Angels Created?

There is no information in the verses and hadiths that tells the exact time of the creation of angels. However, from the verses that inform about the creation of Prophet Adam, it is understood that angels existed before humans. As it is stated in the verse when Allah (swt) proclaimed that He would create a caliph on earth, “Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?” angels said. (Al-Baqarah, 2/30)As can be seen from this verse, Angels were created before the humans. However, no one but Allah (swt) knows exactly when they were created.
