Does Anyone Attribute His (Valuable) Words to Others?
There are many verses stating that the Qur'an is the word of Allah (swt). If the Qur'an belonged to the Prophet Muhammad (saw), he would attribute it to himself and would not say that it was the word of Allah (swt). Because people usually do not attribute their own words to others.
It can be said that Prophet Muhammad (saw) may have wanted Allah (swt) to be respected by attributing a word of His own to Allah. This is also objected as follows: If so, why didn't He (saw) attribute thousands of hadiths belonging to Him to Allah (swt)?
Moreover, the fact that the Prophet Muhammad (saw) had an immaculate personality and His reliability was known to everyone, friend or foe. This is a historical fact. Then, is it conceivable that He would resort to such hypocrisy and deception by attributing His own word to Allah (swt)?
