Does Someone Make Heavy Criticisms About Himself?

The Qur'an reveals the situation of Prophet Muhammad (saw) with all its clarity. Sometimes it points to the greatness of His rank and gives Him morale due to the troubles He has experienced. Sometimes, it directs heavy criticism to Him because of some of the behaviors He exhibited. There are many examples of this in the Qur’an. For example, it is possible to remind the following verses:
“O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives?  And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (Tahrim, 66/1)
"May Allah pardon you, [O Muhammad]; why did you give them permission [to remain behind]?" (Tawbah, 9/43)
If the Qur'an were the word of the Prophet Muhammad (saw), would He use these and similar expressions of severe criticism about Himself? Wouldn't He choose to remain silent on these issues and maintain the respect for His own views?
